Plot
Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of a thief named Roy. The movie is a love triangle starring
Arjun Rampal[2] as a film maker and
Jacqueline Fernandez in a double role.

Production
Development
Initially Director Vicky Singh was supposed to direct a film titled
Mera Jahaan, with
Ranbir Kapoor and
Sonam Kapoor in leading roles, which failed to materialize.
[5] He then attempted to make another film with Mahesh Supekar along with
Deepika Padukone.
[6] This film couldn't work out too due to the fall out between the couple so Singh decided to make a two-hero project,
Roy.

Soundtrack
The soundtrack of Roy will be composed by
Ankit Tiwari, Meet Bros Anjaan,
Amaal Mallik who has been signed up for the film by
Bhushan Kumar.
